Jordan Shaw is a Toronto-based artist and creative technologist. Educated at Carleton University, Algonquin College, and OCAD University, his artwork focuses on the collaboration between digital systems, emerging technologies, and natural environments. He encourages exploration within his work, hoping to foster a deeper understanding and curiosity about our surroundings.

Artist Statement:

`Shade` is an investigation into perspective and analog interactivity. It utilizes the sun's global illumination to create evolving shadows for dynamic, multi-dimensional engagement throughout the day. A collaboration between art, technology, and nature, the artwork’s time-based nature encourages reflection on the potential impact of external influences within our digital-physical world.
