Artist Statement:
My work observes the birth, life and death of buildings, seeking to understand and deconstruct subliminal structures of power in architecture and the built environment. My practice is motivated by public projects, site-specific installations and design/build collaborations, looking to material culture and local histories for inspiration and direction. I embrace a do-it-yourself methodology, working to reimagine material ecologies through practices of reuse, repair, and maintenance.
